HLC Probation Notice
On July 7, 2015 Winebrenner Theological Seminary (WTS) received a letter from the Higher Learning Commission (HLC) indicating that WTS will be placed on probation following the recommendation of the Comprehensive Visit Team in October 2014. WTS remains accredited by HLC while under this status of probation and is fully accredited by the Association of Theological Schools in the United States and Canada. The Board of Trustees, administration, faculty, and staff are addressing concerns relating to strategic planning and financial stability. WTS remains committed to serving God’s mission of reconciliation in changing the world by preparing servant leaders of the Lord Jesus Christ for effective ministry in the Church and the world.
