Library Resources and Services 

Shafer Library provides Winebrenner Theological Seminary and The University of Findlay with services that promote the learning and research activities of students and faculty through print and online resources. Users with an active ID may borrow materials from a pool of over 49 million items owned by OhioLINK institutional libraries, use the extensive non-circulating reference materials, and search the electronic research databases which include a variety of full-text resources. Group and individual study areas are available during posted hours; Guyer Lounge, with food vending machines, is open around the clock, 7 days a week.

Special Collections and Historical Archives

The collection features several specialized resources including works highlighting the nineteenth century John Winebrenner era and Church of God history, the Rosenberry Family Collection of original works from Antebellum American church history.

Items relating to Churches of God history can be found at the CGGC Archives and Museum located in the General Conference Offices (700 E Melrose Ave. in Findlay).  Please contact the Curator (419-424-1961) to make an appointment.
