Director of Christian Education

First Presbyterian Church - Findlay, OH

The First Presbyterian Church of Findlay Ohio has a newly created position to work with our two ordained pastors and our fulltime music director in our ministry in our newly renovated and expanded church facility. We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can use his/her gifts, talents and experience to engage and expand our congregation and to direct our Christian Education ministry for children, youth and adults in conjunction with other staff. This person shall assist the church in developing ways to reach families and adults through education, worship, mission and fellowship thru existing newly created programs.

The Director of Christian Education shall:
• Instill an environment for all ages to advance and grow their relationship with Christ and his church
• Develop and administer programs integrated into the ministry of FPC with children and families, including Sunday School for all ages, enrichment opportunities, the Christmas Pageant, Vacation Bible School, summer offerings, Mission Trips and other Mission and service opportunities while fostering and facilitating adult involvement in ministry for and with young people
• train and support adults to serve as leaders and teachers for church programing
• together with the pastoral staff provide for a program of confirmation classes
• work with the Adult Ministries Committee and the Children and Youth Ministry Committee to develop opportunities for parents and other adults for study, including small groups ministry
• participate and plan in events of our ministry including teaching and worship leadership opportunities
• ensure full compliance together with church leadership of our Children and Youth Protection Policy
• manage the budget and expenses of the programs
• meet regularly with the head of staff
• attend weekly staff meeting
• participate in other church ministries and events as needed
• make contact with new families who visit or join the church as well as those with newborns
• motivate, inspire and relate to all ages in an enthusiastic manner while being personally secure in your own faith journey and your role in the life of the church

Strong preference for a degree in Christian Education and certification in Christian Education together with experience in this or a substantially equivalent endeavor. Salary negotiable and includes health and pension benefits.

Celina First Church of God - Celina, OH

Celina First Church of God is currently seeking a Pastor to continue leading the congregation into deeper Christ-centered relationships, loving evangelistic hearts, and passionate intentional outreach to make positive impacts on the local community.

The ideal candidate will have a seminary degree (or be working towards it), be biblically grounded, compassionate, and personable. Experience in the service as Pastor is required.

The church is located on a 12.36-acre campus in the city of Celina, Oh. Our 22,000 square foot facility, built in 1989, has undergone recent renovations and is debt free.  Our 2014 average Sunday morning worship attendance was 159, and there is high potential for growth.

Research Project Coordinator

Winebrenner Theological Seminary - Findlay, OH

WTS is seeking a research project coordinator for the Doctor of Ministry program. This individual serves as the administrative coordinator for D.Min. students as they progress through the writing process, serves as the general editor for dissertations, and provides assistance to the D.Min. Director during the DM 880 Research and Writing seminars in January and July of each year. This position requires a Master’s level degree in an appropriate discipline. This is a part-time position (approximately 12 hours a week) and will require the successful candidate to be available for office hours at the WTS-Findlay campus. Mercersburg Church of God - Mercersburg, PA

The Mercersburg First Church of God, Mercersburg, PA, is seeking a part-time pastor. Established in 1947, the Mercersburg First Church of God is a member of the Eastern Regional Conference, Churches of God General Conference, Findlay, Ohio.

The church seeks a pastor who will be available for Sunday morning and evening services, plan and execute special services, administer the ordinances of communion and footwashing quarterly, and visit the sick/homebound. The pastor will perform baptisms, baby dedications, weddings, and funerals. The candidate should have strong Biblical knowledge and be able and willing to counsel and reach into the community to make the presence of the Mercersburg Church meaningful.

The prospective candidate must have ministerial experience and have initiated ministry opportunities. A Bible College degree, Seminary degree, or completion of the Winebrenner Pastoral Training Institute with Ordination Certification, or the equivalent is required.

The Pine River Church of God is currently seeking a Part-Time Pastor who is a strong Biblical preacher with an emphasis on reaching those who need a relationship with God. Our church is located in central Michigan, 3 miles from the village of Vestaburg, which has approximately 2000 residents. Our church has been newly remodeled and currently has an average worship attendance of 40-45 on Sunday mornings which includes 10-12 children and youth.
